The journey to who we are is made up of various parts: family, relationships, work, society, and what happens along the way is what shapes us. Mine is no different, and with that, I bring the privilege of knowledge and experience of 17 years as a psychotherapist to you. In those 17-plus years as a psychotherapist, I’ve gained eclectic knowledge by teaching as an adjunct professor in a graduate program, working with multiple disciplines (in school, addiction, in-home therapy, hospital, and private practice settings) and with my colleague who passed their experience and knowledge onto me.

However, that eclectic knowledge was not only learned and provided to me by a seasoned therapist with years of experience and very broad backgrounds in many disciplines and the multiple settings I worked in, but also from the clients themselves. The relationship built between a client and their therapist is forever rewarding with knowledge and growth.

Beyond the client and the academic side of that eclectic growth came my self-journey through life that helped me to be the therapist I am. That life’s journey was both rewarding and devastating. From my time in the military and experiencing two combat deployments, 20-plus years as a volunteer firefighter, coaching CrossFit, instructing scuba divers and training in martial arts for over 25 years, I experienced many ups and downs, including within my family. However, because of my family and my passion for others, my journey has been priceless.

I bring the riches of both knowledge and life experiences to my clients so that together, we can open the doors of change for you and those you cherish most.

Together, let the new journey begin…
