LGBTQ+ Support & Counseling

Are you struggling with issues related to your sexuality or gender identity?

We will always support you

Being true to yourself starts with self-acceptance. Unfortunately, in a world with discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, bullying, and rejection, sometimes it’s brutal and terrifying to do this. Many people struggling with issues related to their sexuality or gender identity often keep quiet. The fear of society, negative opinions, ignorance, and prejudice becomes an emotional burden that often leads to mental health issues such as depression or self-harm.

This is unacceptable - and we are here to support you all the way!

Here, we empower our clients to lead fulfilling lives and be proud of who they are.

Types of treatments we provide:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

is a short, focused type of therapy that focuses on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that contribute to our distress. It can be effective for people struggling with anxiety, depression, shame, or instability related to their sexual orientation or gender identity.

EMDR

is a type of therapy that can help people who have experienced trauma, such as discrimination, harassment or violence based on their sexual orientation or gender identity. It can help people process their experiences and reduce related symptoms such as anxiety, depression or stress disorder.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on exploring unconscious thoughts and feelings that may contribute to mental suffering. This type of therapy can be helpful for people who are testing their sexual orientation or gender identity and may struggle with feelings of shame or self-doubt.

Couples Therapy

couples therapy can be beneficial for people who are in a relationship and experience conflicts related to differences in sexual orientation or gender identity. A therapist can work with couples to improve communication, intimacy and trust and help them navigate their struggles.

Family Therapy

Family therapy can be useful for people struggling with family dynamics related to their sexual orientation or gender identity. A therapist can work with the patient and their families to address any conflicts or misunderstandings and improve relationships.

Sexual Therapy

Sexual therapy is a type of therapy that focuses specifically on issues related to sexual health and function. It can be helpful for people who experience sexual dysfunction, and who want to improve their sexual experiences.
