Liat King, LCSW
I am a Licensed Social Worker specializing in promoting mental health and overall well-being. My therapeutic approach is a blend of various modalities, such as CBT, mindfulness, deep breathing, and a client-focused, strengths-based perspective. I am also eager to expand my skills through training in Internal Family Systems (IFS).
With several years of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals in a clinical setting. I find great fulfillment in supporting clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief.
My motivation as a counselor stems from a deep passion for aiding those who have experienced trauma or grief, as well as those grappling with anxiety and depression. My mission is to guide them towards discovering their unique path, empowering them, providing coping skills, and fostering a deeper self-understanding to navigate life’s difficulties.
I specialize in working with teenagers to young adults, aged 14 and above. My preferred clients are those who are willing to invest time and embrace vulnerability on their journey towards healing and personal growth.
In my practice, I adopt a non-judgmental and inclusive approach towards clients and issues. I believe in the uniqueness of each individual’s journey and am dedicated to assisting those who engage in the therapeutic process. There are no specific clients or issues that I avoid; my goal is to create a safe and supportive space for everyone seeking help.
