Chavi Fink
As a trauma-trained and certified psychotherapist, I am dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with care, respect, and understanding. I have experience in treating both substance and process addictions. Additionally, I have worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, ASD, family conflict, and same-sex attraction.
My approach is eclectic and tailored to meet each client's unique needs. I believe that no single modality works for everyone all the time, so I draw on a range of evidence-based techniques, including motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). When appropriate, I also incorporate elements of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the Gottman Method, among others, to ensure the most effective therapeutic journey.
Beyond the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, reading, and indulging in hobbies like archery, horseback riding, crafts, and cake decorating. These activities, along with the flexibility of finding joy in the moment, help me stay grounded and connected.
